The family’s legal representative reiterated that the investigation into Slim’s abduction and killing is still ongoing, and that the family continues to await truth and justice. To mark the fifth anniversary, UMAM Documentation & Research, Dar al-Jadeed and the Lokman Slim Foundation will hold a photo exhibition titled “Remaining,” which examines a series of political assassinations in Lebanon since 2005 through the lens of photographer Edouard Elias, curated by Katia Jreijiri. The exhibition opens at Union Marks in Bourj Hammoud on February 7 and will run until March 3.

_News_ | *First legal action in France for complicity in the Gaza genocide* 👇 French courts issued two arrest warrants against two French-Israeli activists on suspicion of complicity in the genocide in Gaza. The two are suspected of involvement in obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The accused are Nili Kupfer-Naour of the organization Israel Forever, and Rachel Touitou of Tsav 9. According to human rights organizations involved in filing the complaint, it is the first French legal action at this level, and includes the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, Al-Haq and Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights. Based on complaints submitted by Palestinian human rights organizations, Kupfer-Naouri and Touitou are accused of direct incitement to genocide by calling for preventing the supply of Gaza’s population and stripping them of their human status. Along with more than ten other individuals who may also face arrest, they are implicated in blocking aid trucks from entering Gaza via the Nitzana and Kerem Shalom crossings on multiple occasions between January 2024 and May 2025. The Israeli army facilitated the actions of activists complicit in the genocide in Gaza by allowing them to hold sit-ins in areas designated as military zones, unload aid trucks and prevent them from entering the Gaza Strip.
