🏎️🙁 Motorsport icon Kalle Rovanpera has revealed his F1 dreams are in tatters after a devastating health diagnosis. The rally superstar, 25, won back-to-back WRC Championships in 2022 and 2023, and retired from the sport last year to make his dream move into F1. He was set to compete in the 2026 Super Formula Championship with KCMG. However, the Finn has now revealed that he will be stepping back after “medical issues” have “gotten worse”. 🗣️ “I have difficult news to share. I will be stepping back from the upcoming races and my participation in this year’s Super Formula season. “I’ve been working with medical issues for already a longer period, which have gotten worse this year. My health doesn’t allow me to continue safely at the moment. Now my first priority is to fix that. 😢 “I’m more than sorry for those who hoped to see me on track.
