A behemoth of a storm system is headed to New England on Sunday. According to the forecast, it will blanket our region with double-digit jackpot snowfall of a foot to nearly 2 feet, the most significant winter storm our region has seen in four years.
With dangerously cold Arctic air rushing in starting Friday, intense rounds of snow are predicted to hit mainly Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut as this massive system gradually moves through the region, before tapering off sometime Monday afternoon.
