*Macau GP: Porsche reveals car line-up for Guia Circuit* ➡️
Five 911 GT3 R, competing for three Porsche customer teams, will take on the iconic FIA GT World Cup next month at the historic Guia Circuit as the marque looks to claim its first victory on the streets of Macau.
Absolute Racing will once again take on the event, after securing a pair of top five finishes during last year’s edition in tricky conditions. The Shanghai-based team names an unchanged line-up from the 2024 running, featuring Belgian duo Alessio Picariello and Laurens Vanthoor 🇧🇪.
Vanthoor has enjoyed a strong 2025, recently securing second at the Suzuka 1000 km with the squad, as well as earning victories at Rolex 24 Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring during the IMSA season. Picariello has also achieved success in the Asia-Pacific region and in Europe 🇪🇺, as the newly crowned GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup champion.
After completing their Macau debut in 2024, Schumacher CLRT returns to the Guia Circuit, this time with two Porsche 911 GT3 R. Fresh off his DTM championship victory, courtesy of a dramatic last lap overtake at Hockenheimring, Ayhancan Güven 🇹🇷 looks to impress on his maiden outing at the FIA GT World Cup. On the other side of the garage, Laurin Heinrich 🇩🇪 once again drives for the outfit after competing together at last year’s race. He has enjoyed podiums across IMSA SportsCar Championship, GT World Challenge Asia, GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and Thailand Super Series in what has been a busy campaign for the 24-year-old.
Finally, Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver Dorian Boccolacci 🇫🇷 will make his Macau GT debut with Phantom Global Racing. The Frenchman has taken four podiums across his GT World Challenge Asia campaign with the Chinese outfit, as well as completing the Suzuka 1000 km with the squad.
The Macau Grand Prix takes place on 13-16 November. Its 6.12-kilometre Guia Circuit is one of the most iconic tracks in motorsport, with narrow and tight corners mixed with long straights and fast, flowing sections. Since its founding in 2017, Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific has a storied history at Macau, supporting customers every year that the race has run.
